Health and Accident Insurance

Supplemental insurance to cover major illnesses and surgeries, specialist consultations, and diagnostic procedures not available at Health Services should be purchased by all students who do not have health insurance. Generally, private hospitals will not admit patients who do not have hospitalization insurance.

Health insurance is mandatory for some students. Please see the information at https://www.pearceandpearce.com/PearceSite/Schools/GA/GT/Default.asp regarding mandatory student health insurance and hard waivers. The mandatory health insurance charge is applied to student accounts by the Bursar’s Office. Please contact the Bursar’s Office directly regarding these charges.
